HMOA director John Melhuish and Associate Matt Robinson have been on-site in Buscomb Ave, Henderson in West Auckland checking out progress on the fifteen-storey apartment building that will be known as Plus Pacific Tower.
With its prime position on the corner of Great North Rd and Buscomb Avenue, the building will also house three retails spaces, vehicle access to the car stacker and a central lobby providing access to its 67 apartments above.
The form of the building is generated from its strong base from levels 1–10
HMOA Auckland director, Matt Pearson, says the upper levels will feature striking white-painted, concrete fins and glass cladding and are recessed to allow them to sit lightly on the base.
48 new one and two bedroom apartments will be available as part of the Kiwibuild scheme, with two and four bedroom options for sale on the open market.
The design for Buscomb Ave apartments is based on a limited pallet of materials consisting of dark grey metal panels and white painted concrete.
