Trade Me Auckland

A rare opportunity to work on a building we had previously refurbished in the 1990s. Both then and now, we drew strongly on the original warehouse use of the building, focusing on the central atrium to connect the spaces.

The atrium skylights cast natural light throughout the building, adding to the feeling of a lush tropical glass house. This sense of bringing the outdoors inside was a theme we also used for the Wellington Trade Me fit-out. In Auckland, we created vibrant green walls, which not only added colour but served as acoustic panels. The spaces are further brightened by emphasising the atrium height and with playful, coloured lights.
